DOT HOUSE NAGANO (Vacation Rental)
We newly renovated the ex-Japanese kimono/traditional clothing shop and opened this chartered house in July 2018, where are maximum 5 people of a group or a family can be accommodated.
It’s well located in the traditional area in Nagano city where is only 5 minutes on foot to the Zenkoji temple and surrounded by the wide range of restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience store as well as supermarkets.
The path to the house is a very quiet residential area where Japanese elderly people living in the traditional house.
You can not only experience the local living life here but also enjoy the private space with your family, group and kids.

The host went above and beyond. Very prompt responses to all messages, great directions to get to the house and instructions for check-in. He even met us at the bus stop to escort us to the house at check-in. A very convenient location, and very close to the Zenkoji Temple.
It was amazing experience! The house is authentic but unique. Old but clean. Special advantage is the location. Very near from main street but quiet. Zenkoji temple was 5 min distance. We cloud visit everywhere of the town by rental bicycle. Host has huge hospitality. とても良かったです！お家もユニークな間取りでかわいいし、古いけど清潔。何よりいいのはロケーション。善光寺の表参道からすぐなのに静かな環境でした！お借りした自転車でどこでもいけました。最高なのは善光寺の裏にある城山公園のオープンプール。8時まで入れて300円。 ご飯美味しい所が沢山あって、日帰り温泉も自転車ですぐと、至れり尽くせりでした。 ホストもちょうどいい距離感を保ってくれる好青年でした。
An authentic stay in a lovely private house situated in the historical district of Nagano, only five minutes walk to Zenko-ji temple. We felt in love with the place, a traditionnal japanese house nicely renovated with a cool modern design. Very comfy and perfectly located with plenty of restaurant and supermarkets nearby, we felt at home and had the feeling to be able to have a real taste of locals life in Nagano. リノベーションされたばかりで内装がとてもおしゃれなお家です。特に畳の部屋がとても綺麗でした。善光寺から徒歩5分でスーパーにもレストランにも近いし長野を満喫するのに申し分ない立地です。アメニティも充実していて、快適な時間を過ごしました。
